Aerial and Reciprocal Pesticide Applicators

The Nebraska Department of Agriculture requires applicators desiring recertification and licensing in the Aerial (12) category to meet aerial safety training/testing standards within the last three years, in addition to recertifying their General Standards (00). This training can be satisfied by one of two ways:
  1. Attend a National Agricultural Aviation Association’s (NAAA) Professional Aerial Applicators’ Support System (PAASS) meeting.

  2. Pass the Nebraska Aerial (12) category exam.
Reciprocal aerial applicators must also satisfy the requirement by one of the methods stated above, or provide information and documentation of aerial applicator safety training and/or testing from their state of residence. Information required on training and/or testing (other than PAASS) will consist of both proof of attendance and an agenda of topics covered at the training event or test results from the state of residence.

Reciprocity will be denied, if this information is not provided.
